How to revive your Brazilian wig | Ft. Satai Hair

I’m sure many of you have searched for an easier and cost-effective way to revive your wigs, I know I have. I have come to a realisation that reviving wigs is not as complicated as they make it be, it’s actually very easy and all you need are your basic tools.

With Keratin as a key ingredient in your products, you are guaranteed the best results. It provides deep moisturisation and strengthens the hair from root to tip in just 1-minute treatment. It infuses hair with Brazilian nutrients complex to continually smooth and cuticle and replenishes the strands with the same smoothing found in the Brazilian blow-out professional smoothing treatment. It also contains ARGAN OIL and ALOE VERA that helps prevent FRIZZ and SPLIT ENDS for healthier, silkier and smoother hair.

What you will need:

Shampoo

Conditioner

Water

Serum

Hairdryer

Straightener and a

wig stand

Uses of each product:

Shampoo – to give the hair a wash and to clear it from all toxins

Conditioner – to add shine and moisture to the wig

Bucket/basin and water – this is where the washing takes place. I use lukewarm water for the wash and I always make sure I wash the wig twice with shampoo. Also used to place the wig while it conditions.

Serum – this product is used to protect the wig from the heat coming from the hairdryer and the straighter

Hair Dryer – to dry it completely after air drying it

Straightener – to lay the hair for sleek results

Instructions:

Brushing And Detangling. Just like your own hair, before styling, you want to be sure to detangle it first

Soak Your Hair. Once the hair is thoroughly detangled, you then want to soak the hair.

Pour enough water into the basin and let the wig soak in for a bit

Use one hand of shampoo to cover the wig

Spread the shampoo across the wig and run your fingers in it for about 5 minutes

Put back the wig in the water (wash)

Wash the wig again with shampoo

Rinse

Condition for 45 minutes +. You should deep condition the hair regularly to maintain its shine and for zero or manageable frizz

After an hour rinse the conditioner

Blot out excess water with a towel and allow hair to dry naturally. Please do not expose the wig to the sun.

Air dry

(I lay my wig on my plastic wig stand for it to dry)

Drying can take up to a day if not more. For perfect results, you really need to be patient at this point

After air-drying your wig make sure you dust it off gently until it retains its straightness

Use a wide comb to comb through the wig

When styling with heating tools it is very important to use a heat protectant serum or spray that is ALCOHOL-FREE. Oil-based product and alcohol will dry the hair.

Add enough serum in the palm of your hands and run your hands thoroughly through your wig. Until you have covered it all with the serum.

Blow-dry your wig to ensure that it is completely dry

Straighten and blow-dry for amazing results

When straightening your hair remember to section it

Your wig deserves a wash at least once a month!

Nothing screams Hot Girl Summer like a sleek laid beautiful wig!
